Lanvellec and Trégor early music academies

From July 4 to 10, 2020

The Academies of Lanvellec and Trégor offer musicians the opportunity to further develop their interpretation of early music through two training centres: the Academy of Baroque Music of Lanvellec and the Academy of Renaissance Music organized in Lannion.

These training courses meet  an initial objective of the association, set out in its founding charter in 1986: “to implement musical formation projects related to the exceptional and authentic historical Robert Dallam organ (1653), the only extant English organ dating back to the period of the Commonwealth, and one of the rare survivors from the seventeenth century still possessing all of its original piping.

Since its creation in 2011, the Academy of Baroque Music of Lanvellec is surrounded by exceptional trainers, internationally renowned musicians and great teachers. It welcomes professional musicians, students or accomplished amateurs from all over the world. Given the success of this musical venture, a second academy has been initiated in the Trégor area, in Lannion: the Academy of Renaissance Music.

The two formations will open this summer, from 4 to 10 July 2020.
